- [Instructor] Moving on ahead into chapter eight, we're going to take a look at VirtuSurv. Now VirtuSurv is a tool that comes with As-Built, and this allows us to pick points that we need from a planar image rather than from a point cloud. When we zoom into an area of points in AutoCAD, the points disperse. When we zoom into the same area in VirtuSurv, the images stays relatively clear. This truly helps us when we're locating items such as flanges, where we need that accuracy, as we can often see a clearer edge in VirtuSurv than we can in AutoCAD. Let's take a look at how VirtuSurv can help us model. Now I'm going to zoom into this area that we're working in down here, I'm just going to change my view a little bit, now we're going to work on a split screen with this.
