- [Instructor] We're going to look now at a slightly different way of reusing content in our AutoCAD drawings. We're going to look at utilizing the WBLOCK command in AutoCAD. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called WBLOCK.dwg and you can download it from the library as usual to follow along with this particular video. When you do open the drawing you'll see that we've got one block definition in the drawing. It's called DOOR and it's on the layer Door there. It's a red door in color there, you can see it on the screen. Now, we're going to WBLOCK out that block reference to its own separate DWG file called DOOR.dwg. To do that is fairly easy. All you've got to do is type WBLOCK, Dynamic Input picks that up, and you press Enter. That brings up the Write Block dialog box. Now the good thing is, you can pick an existing block from your drawing. So if I go to Block here, you can then pick the DOOR block reference from the dropdown list.
