Walk the run: Part 1

- [Instructor] When you use the As-Built Walk the Run feature, the goal is to model only parts of the facility that you need. We don't need to model all of the piping, so Walk the Run gives us the ability to model specific runs, but with more accurate detail. We can be very precise in our placement of key components such as flanges and valves, so let's model a run of pipe and see how all this works together. So I've gone ahead and clipped out an area of piping that we're going to be modeling during this exercise. So let's check on a few things before we get started. We want to make sure that we do have our spec loaded. So to do that, we're going to come up to our As-Built Plant tab in the ribbon menu. We're going to come across to the Prepare panel, and we're going to choose Edit Plant Model.
