- [Instructor] So what should you know before you start this AutoCAD Essential training course? Well, ideally you should have completed the Learning AutoCAD course for this particular AutoCAD version in the library. You can find it in the library, it's very quick and easy to find and it takes you through the real simple basics of AutoCAD. If you've taken that Learning AutoCAD course, you will then understand some of the methodologies and principles in this course and it puts you in good stead and gives you that sort of on the ground running kind of scenario. What you should also know with this particular course is that we are running with AutoCAD 2021, the latest version of AutoCAD. So if you're using a slightly older version of AutoCAD the interface could be slightly different, some of the commands could be slightly different. So just be aware of that as well.
