What you should know before watching this course

- [Instructor] So here's what you should know before starting this particular course. This is an introductory course to get you started with AutoCAD. It's going to teach you the basics, not all the deeper dive stuff that you might expect. It's going to allow you to get started with AutoCAD. You should be able to pick up the basics of AutoCAD with this course. There are plenty of other courses that I've authored in the library for you to dive deeper into AutoCAD, too. You should know how to work with Windows-based applications before you start this course. So for example, if you can drive Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel, you can get along with this course and AutoCAD pretty easily. You should know your operating system. In this case, Microsoft Windows operating system. You'll probably be running something like Windows 10, and you need to be aware of the dialog boxes, the input buttons, and how all of that functions within the Windows operating system because AutoCAD uses those dialog boxes and input buttons too.
