What you should know

- [Instructor] So what you should know before starting this particular course. Well, a lot of it is very self-explanatory to be perfectly honest, but no overall specialist knowledge is required for this course. It's more of a guidelines type course to give you ideas on how you can move forward with your social distancing, your PPE and work and in the classroom with obviously the COVID-19 pandemic. Some facilities management experience would be useful but it's not mandatory. And a basic knowledge of AutoCAD again is useful, but it's not mandatory in this case. You could be using different CAD applications. My preferred CAD application is AutoCAD. So I'm going to be using that to demonstrate some of the theories and principles around some of the things that we might be able to do due to this pandemic. And it's an overview only, I must stress that. I must give you a disclaimer now that some of the information in this course is up-to-date when we're recording the course, but the COVID-19 situation is very fluid. Things may change very quickly. So just be aware of that. And it's ideal for all facilities, managers, architects and CAD users, and maybe even more people as well. It's a guideline course. It's an overview. So it just gives you those thoughts to move forward with the pandemic and the move back to work.
