- [Instructor] This course is designed to provide basic training for drafters and designers who will be using point cloud data to model, measure, and produce engineering drawings. You should already have a solid understanding of 3D AutoCAD, have the minimal design skills of a junior level piping or structural steel designer. Please note that this course does not cover all the functions that are available in As-Built AutoCAD but it will cover the basic features of Modeler, Plant, Building, and Analysis. These basic functions will provide a solid foundation that can then be applied to more complex modeling as you become more familiar with the tools.
