Why use polylines?
- [Voiceover] So we're starting another chapter now in our AutoCAD Facilities Management 102 Space Management course. And you'll notice we have a new drawing, it's 00_GND_FM_SPACES.dwg, and in the usual Lynda.com fashion you can download it from your Lynda.com exercise files. Now, remember, you must reference in the GA drawing as the facilities plan, the FP drawing. So just to clarify that, we'll go to the Insert tab on the ribbon, Reference panel, click on the little arrow, there's our externalreferences. If I hover over the FP there, you can see that that is 00_GND_GA_SPACES.dwg, which you can find again in your Lynda.com exercise files. Make sure you reference it in, as per the previous chapters, rename it as FP and then right-click and make sure you Unload and Reload, so that the renaming kicks in. And then, just to clarify, quick sanity check, if you go to your Home tab, into your Layers panel and check your Layer Properties, you should see that all of your reference layers have…
