- [Instructor] Welcome back to another tip and trick for AutoCAD where we're making you work better with AutoCAD and perhaps even become the CAD guru in your drawing office. Now what we're going to have a look at is the path array command in AutoCAD today, and the idea being is that the path array allows you to array objects along any given path. Now that can be an arc, a spline, even a straight line if you want it to but the whole idea is it should be an irregular path rather than what I would call a regular path because you could use just one row or one column in a rectangular array just to do a straight line array. Now you'll notice we're in a nice drawing called Path Array.dwg. You can download that from the website if you want to use it to follow along with this particular video.
