- [Voiceover] We're now in a new section of our AutoCAD 2017 Essentials Course. We're going to be looking at object and layer properties in an AutoCAD drawing. Now it's a new drawing. You've never seen it before, and it's a little project that I set up with three little elements in the drawing itself. The yellow object there on the left with the dashed lines is a hinge. The middle green object, with those dashed lines around the center, is a bolt. And the red one, which looks a bit weird, is actually a keyhole. Now what I've done there is I've just placed some different objects like arcs, circles, there's a hexagon there, a polygon, there's also some lines and some dashed lines and things to play with as well. Now we're going to look at the object and layer properties of these three little elements in our drawing. Now what we're going to do first of all, though, in this particular video is locate where we would find the information we need, the layer information, the properties…
