- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now, and we're going to have a little look at human interface devices. Now human interface devices are what you use to interface with your computer that might be a laptop. It might be a desktop PC. It might even be something like a surface pro, almost like a tablet PC or an iPad pro. Now, in this particular case, I'm using a desktop PC with a mouse and a keyboard, and I'm using AutoCAD. We have a drawing for you in the library it's called mouse.DWG. So make sure you've got that file downloaded and open in AutoCAD. As you can see on the screen at the moment. Now, we're going to look at one particular human interface device, and that's the mouse. Now, when you're an AutoCAD, you can see that when I move the mouse around, you can see the crosshair cursor moves around with me.
