A new layer for 3D external walls
- [Narrator] We're staying in our zero zero ground floor layers drawing and we're going to start thinking about the layers that we need for our scene in our 3D Studio Max software. Now, how're we going to do that, how we're going to work with this and generate the layers that we need? Well, the good thing is, this particular example that I'm showing you to work with is really simple, really easy to use and it's actually quite effective, because there's no real complexity to it. Now, bear in mind, when you're working in a live environment, I'm pretty sure that some of the drawings that you're going to bring into 3D Studio Max will be a lot more complex. But what I'm trying to get across here is the workflow and also, more importantly, things like layer naming philosophy and how you organize your layers to make sure that they all represent what you need them to represent. So let's have a look at our external walls…
