- [Instructor] PPE stands for Personal Protective Equipment. Now you may have seen in various news reports about COVID, doctors and nurses wearing their full PPE where they're totally covered up. They've got their mask on, they've got their goggles on, they've got their visors on, and they're working extremely hard to prevent the spread of COVID. Now, Personal Protective Equipment doesn't just apply to that. It applies to elements that you can locate in your workplace, in your classroom, in your factory, that also protect people personally. Now, what I've put into the classroom model in this case, are PPE screens. They're represented by bold, black lines in the drawings as you can see in the graphics there in the slide. And the whole idea of the PPE in the classroom, is to maintain social distancing and to protect each individual student from the other. So they are separated.
