Gluing models from AutoCAD

- AutoCAD basically gets glued the same way Revit does. What I want to do is we're going to start with our add-ins, right, so I'm going to be in AutoCAD 2016. A few enablers are set, so this is going to give you the add-ins A60 and BIN 360. Let's get started by opening up a drawing. On the quick access toolbar I'm going to click the Open button. I'm going to browse to where I'm keeping my files and I'm going to grab the Sprinkler drawing in AutoCAD. You can grab any AutoCAD drawing that you'd like. If you're following along, just grab the Sprinkler drawing in the Chapter three folder. I'm going to click Open. Once it's open I'm going to pan it into view. Remember, AutoCAD's a little slower than Revit, so give it a second. Now notice we have a few different tabs here. If we go to the Add-ins tab, we can't find it. If we go to A360, we can't find it. If we go to BIN 360, a-ha, there it is. There's a different button in here called Attach. I'm going to click that to show you what that…
