Understanding the difference between PC usage and mobile usage
- When I first bought 360 Glue, I thought it was exclusively an iPad app. It's actually not true. AutoDesk BIM 360 Glue is for use on a PC and on a mobile device such as an iPad, a Windows Surface or even a handheld phone. Obviously using the program on something as small as an iPhone five or six will be difficult, while using it on iPad or Surface will make it a lot easier. So that being said, BIM 360 Glue has an app in the App Store and also an executable file you can download from the AutoDesk website. Both versions are free, it's the access to the cloud you're buying, basically the service. So if you're the owner of the models, or the administrator, and set up the projects, you need a paid subscription for 360 Glue. If you are an invited guest to a Glue project, by someone else, you don't need a subscription, but you will still need to get a username and password from AutoDesk.
