- Now let's talk about Azure Storage services. Azure storage is actually a set of several storage solutions under one umbrella. The same Azure storage account can contain, Azure blob storage, Azure files, Azure tables and Azure queues. For the purpose of the exam we won't be focusing much on Azure queues. So let's just start discussing the other ones. Azure table storage, as we have discussed before, is Microsoft's implementation of key value stores. Here is a few things that you need to know about the service. As with most key value pair stores this is a quite simple service. So it doesn't have the concepts of schema, relationships, start procedures, secondary indices or foreign keys that are present on the relationship database. You also can only search based on the key but not on the values. This simplicity has a flip side though, data insertion and retrieval as expected with key value stores is quite fast…
