Connect to Azure Repo as another team member
- [Instructor] We're ready to look at working with a Repo from another user's perspective. We'll be using an account for Terry Dactyl. She's on the web portal right now and she can see the Repositories here. So you can see that folder we just added and inside that folder is that sourcegoeshere.md file. There's also this readme.md file. Inside Visual Studio she connects her account, then goes to Team Explorer, chooses to Manage Connections. This will list all of her available servers. She'll go to the dev.azure.com server and open this same project we opened earlier in this chapter. Now she has to clone the repository to her local hard drive and once she's done cloning it, Visual Studio switches over to the Solution Explorer and now she can see the same files that we showed in the previous video.
