Demystify Linux networking and SSH

- [Grant] System D, Network Manager, and iproute2, are new technology stacks changing how Linux systems are managed. These technologies are foundational to becoming a Linux system engineer prepared for the future. In this course, we demystify these technologies by using Network Manager to configure network settings and discover why network device names have changed. We create static network configuration files to make our settings for persistent. We gather network statistics using the new ss and ip commands, create static routes, and query DNS servers. Lastly, we use SSH to execute remote commands and automate logins. We also optimize secure shell performance. I'm Grant McWilliams, computer science instructor and Linux enthusiast. Join me now in my course, Linux System Engineer: Linux Networking and SSH. This course is the first course of the Linux system engineer learning path and should not be missed. So let's get started!
