- [Instructor] Okay, so we've seen how the Azure Migrate Services can be used to assess and migrate virtual machine workloads. It can also be used to migrate SQL Server instances to Azure. So here we are back in Azure Migrate. And here on the left-hand side, under Migration Goals, we can select databases. Now, as before there are two steps here, the assessment step and the migration step. Now, with databases we need to install Microsoft's Data Migration Assistant tool. This you install on your SQL Server instance. Then you can use it to analyze your database schemers and check for compatibility. Now, this process is really similar to migrating virtual machines. So similar in fact that I'm not going to show it in this demo. What I am going to show you is another way of doing things. Let's actually create a new SQL Server managed instance.
