What are Azure Boards?

- [Instructor] Azure Boards is the hub for project planning and work assignment. Everything in Azure Boards is centered on the concept of work items, do you need to track a bug? Create a work item. Do you want to add a test case? Create a work item. When you create a new Azure DevOps project, you select a work item process. That configures the project to use one of the standard process templates. A process template defines the building blocks of the work item tracking system as well as other subsystems you access through the Azure Boards. On this screen on the portal, you can see on the bottom right the four choices for process templates. There are four templates that are included in Azure DevOps. They map to common software workflows. If the included templates don't match your team flow, you can also create a customized template based on any of the included templates.
