Working with relational databases in Azure
- [Instructor] So, in this demo, we're going to create an Azure SQL Database and query that for both the portal and the SQL Server Management Studio. For the exam, it's unlikely that you're going to need a lot of the information in here, but I just would like to give you a little bit of a taste of how to use the products. I'll start by going on the top and selecting create a resource. And then on the search bar, I'm going to type Azure SQL. So here I have my Azure SQL resource and I'm just going to click on the create button. On the next screen, the portal gives me the possibility of creating a SQL database, a SQL managed instance or MI and a SQL virtual machine. If I click on SQL virtual machine, look at how many images I have to create my VM. All of these different VMs are actually with different configurations of operating system and SQL server versions. But what I really want in here is to create a single database…
