- [Eric] Welcome to the cloud. We know working from home in this industry is tough. Pulling models from a VPN, from our server, or worse is crushing many of us. Pulling models from the cloud is exponentially faster. The difference is stunning. So therefore, I'd like to introduce you to BIM 360 from a basic Revit workflow standpoint. A lot of hype has been generated about this project, and rightfully so. BIM 360 is changing how we collaborate through design, into construction and beyond into facility management. But hold the phone. There's so many different functionalities, buttons, and modules that it's hard to drill in and find a practical workflow. I want this course to drill immediately into how we get a Revit project off our local server and into the cloud. That's it. Although all of the other functions we get from BIM 360 are great, in an emergency, honestly, they can be ignored for now. Hi, I'm Eric Wing, and I have over 20 years experience in the construction, engineering, architectural and training industries. I've been using BIM 360 for Revit on a wide range of projects since it first hit the market. In this LinkedIn Learning course, I'll show you how to get BIM 360 set up, and which products are necessary. This should cut way down on learning all of the features and get you into the cloud as fast as possible. From there, we'll learn how to set up a project, assign users, and of course how we work share a model to BIM 360.
