Creating your own kit from scratch
- Let's create a kit from scratch. You've already seen how to add samples to cells by right clicking on the cell and loading a sample. Well let's use the side bar on the left to do it this time. You may not have the same samples as I do on your sidebar, but you can still follow along and load in your own samples. So let's go to the samples page. Let's pick a few sounds. I'm gonna audition some here. (electronic kickdrum) (cowbell) (dull metal clank) Pick that one, drag it over. (police siren) (various sound effects played quickly) Let's use that one. Let's go down. (various sound effects played quickly) (clap) (clap) (more sound effects) Let's get some kicks in there and some hats. (high hat sounds) (electronic kick drum sounds) And some snares. (electronic snare drum sounds) Okay, so now that we have a bunch of sounds that we like, let's go ahead and save it to our desktop. And do that by going here, file, save kit as. So first let's put a name on it. Let's just call it Scotty Kit…
