Loading and playing kits
- In this video I'm going to show you how to load and play kits. So let's load a kit from our library. We'll pick the 606 Kit. Double click on it. The kit opens up. Now you can play it in one of two ways. You can either click on your cells with your mouse like this. (drum sounds) Or, you can use your MIDI controller. Now, I'm gonna use my MIDI keyboard here which of course you can't see. You notice that the first cell starts on C1. And then each cell after that is triggered by going up the keyboard: C, C#, D, D#, and so on and so forth. (drum sounds) So the other thing I'm gonna show you in this video are the mute and solo buttons on each cell. This works pretty much like the mixer in your DAW. So let's start with solo, which is this little button right here. If I click it, it turns yellow. Now only this cell will play and BATTERY will ignore the other ones if they're triggered. (drum sounds) You can also solo multiple cells by holding down the command button and clicking on the solo…
