- [Presenter] So one of the things that Bitwig does have the ability to do, is interface with hardware. And when I say hardware, I mean real world devices, physical devices, non-software devices. So, whether it's a synthesizer or a sequencer in the outside world, or a MIDI keyboard, or a modular synthesizer, or a drum machine, there's so many cool tools in the outside world that you can use with Bitwig as the brain. So, what I'm goinna do, is I'm going to create a new track and I'm going to go ahead and add an instrument track. And let's say, I want to use a hardware synthesizer. Now, I could just record this as audio on the way in, but what I could also do, is add this Hardware Instrument instrument, basically. So this acts just like a soft synth: MIDI goes in, audio comes out, if you set it up correctly. I'm going to choose my MIDI input, my MIDISPORT, there, that's what's connected to my MIDI keyboard, we're going to use…
