- So one of the themes that we're running into with all of our instrument devices that we're using is that midi goes in and audio comes out. Now, many of you are familiar with using audio effects and chains and plugins on audio signals that come out of software instruments, or that come out of the timeline, if you have audio in an audio track. One of the cool things in Bitwig is that we actually have some midi effects, and we'll call those note effects here. There's also midi over here, but when they use this term "midi", it's generally more sort of utilitarian stuff. The note effects tend to be more musical. So, again, let's just copy this sequence over, then I'm going to solo this and I've just got a simple polysynth patch going, (polysynth music) Just with a simple reverb going in there. And what I can do now, generally, if I was going to add an audio effect, it would come after, right? Midi comes in, audio comes out.…
