- [Instructor] So let's talk about pitch editing. There's a lot of fun stuff we can do when we edit the pitch of audio. It's a lot different from working with pitch in synthesizers because when you work with pitch in audio, either you're trying to fix something that needs to be pristine or, in this case, we're going to to sort of destroy something. Because generally, and this is getting better for the sake of Auto-Tune and Melodyne and stuff like that. But generally audio pitch shifting has artifacts and a lot of my favorite electronic music, and frankly, yours too whether you know it or not, makes great use of pitch shifting artifacts that come out of pitch shifting audio.
