Adding practical lights to the scene
- Now, if we look at our reference images, we can see that we have these ceiling lights pointing at the shelves. Now, they're very hot and bright, I don't think we want to try and replicate that. But it might be nice to have a couple of lights there just as accents. So I've gone ahead and modeled some light fixtures here. What I'd like to do is go ahead and put a couple of spotlights in there. To place the light, I'm going to press the period key on the numpad and zoom in to this fixture. I'm going to select an edge right along here and I will bring the cursor to the selected. Now, when we bring that spotlight in, it will pop right here to the cursor. I'll go back to Object Mode and let's create the light. Go to the Create tab, scroll down here, and let's create a spotlight. And there it is. I'm going to go to the side view and Wireframe so we can see it. I'll rotate it so it's pointing down at the shelves here. I might adjust the cone angle here, the size of the cone here as well as…
