Baking a composite texture

- [Voiceover] In this movie, we have come a long way. We have constructed our game environment. In addition to that, we have painted a texture for the walls, floors, and the ceilings so that our environment looks as though it's made from concrete. In addition to that, we've painted dirt and grime into various areas of the environment to add aging and weathering. In addition to that, we've added ambient occlusion and then finally, on top of that, we've created scene lighting using environment lighting and area lights. What I want to do in this movie is to roll all of that together into one final composited texture. A texture that we're going to bake and we can export that from Blender and apply it to our game model inside a real time engine like Unity. So this is going to be our final composited game texture. To produce this, we're going to be using texture baking and to get started at doing that, I'm going to create a completely new texture inside the UV image editor. So I'm going to…
