Beginning the lift arms
- Now let's start working on one of the actual lift arms. What we can do is move this base template here to another layer as well, so let's just hit the "A" key and hit the "M" key and move it to, say, this layer here. So now we have our scale and our rough block out. So let's go back to layer one, and let's take a look at this from the side view. So here is our lift arm here. What we can do is actually copy one of the lift arms that we've already created and bring it over here. Let's do that. Let's grab this right here, and let's press "shift+D" and "enter", and then I'll press "M" and move it to layer one. There we go. So now if we move back to layer one, we have this piece here. I don't think we need this part down here, so let's go ahead and grab this area and just remove it. I'll tumble around, and then I'll press "alt" and click on an edge between two of the faces and that will select an edge loop. I'll press "shift+alt" and do the same down here, and maybe we can grab this one…
