Building scene lighting

- [Voiceover] In the previous movie, we established some base lighting for our environment here and we can preview that inside the bottom right-hand side render preview if I just change to the rendered mode here and select the rendered mode. You can see the base lighting that we've added by using a gradient image. I'm gonna change this back temporarily to solid mode just to improve the render performance inside the 3D view here. What I want to do is to add some additional lights manually and to do that I'm gonna move to the toolbox and make sure that the Create tab is activated. Inside this tab, I'm going to scroll down to the option area light because I want to add an area light to the scene. We do have a range of options of point, sun, spot, hemi, and area light, but I'm going to add an area light, which simulates light coming from a rectangular area. So I'm gonna choose area light here and I'll move that out inside the 3D viewport. Maybe just outside the window that you can see…
