- [Instructor] Now I can imagine … that you are working on this sculpture … and you're going crazy. … You're asking yourself, … "Man, can't I just play with some of these tools … and make my life a little bit easier?" … Well, yeah, you don't have to wait for me … go in there and start messing with them … and see what cool tools you can use. … For this video, we're going to cover … some of the more important ones … that'll help us really create this structure … of the fins and the eye. … In fact, one of the biggest things I am having trouble with … are the fins. … One way we can do this … is by playing with the Elastic Deform and Snake Hook. … Let's play with Deform first. … I can hit F2 make my radius smaller … and I can start to pull out some of that form. … At least get the body ready for that shape. … Then I can use Snake Hook … and make sure if I right click … that my strength is up quite a bit. … And woo this is crazy. … Whoa! Yeah look at that. … Isn't that pretty cool? … All right, so now just go ahead and pull that out …
