- [Instructor] To begin sculpting in Blender, all you need to do is literally switch to sculpting mode. Let me show you. Go to file, new, sculpting. And right away you're brought into this brand new mode. Things may look a little different but they're more or less the same. For example, if I come over to my left and left click drag, I can see I have all of these cool new tools and I'm in a new mode called sculpt mode. I still have my outliner on the right and my properties also on the right. And I have this nice little spear that I can middle mouse rotate around and you can tell what my orientation is by looking at the top right. Now, before we get started I want to do two things. The very first thing I want to do is actually split this view a little bit. So if you come down to the bottom left, you can left click and drag.
