- In this lesson, we're going to continue building out our bones for our rig. So, being in Edit Mode, I'm going to select this top node. And so I have that lined up here. Probably it would make sense to bring this up slightly so that that can be the point where the neck will bend. So I'll bring that up a little bit like so. Now select Extrude. And I'm going to drop that. Again, that same thinking of where do I want that head to rotate at? We can bring that down a little bit. And then now, lastly, I want to do an Extrude one more time and have that bone be at the top of the head. And that will end that chain. If I now go to the front view, then I can start laying in additional bones for the legs and feet. And so, if that is my root, I also want there to be room for a hip controller. So I'm gonna move this up slightly, like so. And then Extrude this down so as to create a hip joint so that I can rotate the hips independently.
