- Now that our objects have been UV mapped, we need to think about applying textures to them. Now of course, we can always go out and take photographs of our own textures, but there's quite a few resources out online that will allow you to download some wonderful textures for free. One of my favorites is mayang.com, there are some wonderful free textures here, but the other site that I think is really great, is cgtextures.com. I've gone ahead and downloaded a texture here from Mayang Textures. It's a denim fabric texture, and I'd like to use this on the room chair, but if I applied this texture the way it is, and repeated it across the chair, we'd see seams where the tiles of the textures came together. So let's go through the process of making this texture seamless. The first thing we need to do is make it square, it's a rectangle now, so if we go up to Image, and Canvas Size, and I'm gonna change this to Pixels.
