Creating a wood texture in Krita
- [Instructor] All right, with the UV map selected here I'll just come up to the UV menu, choose Export UV Layout, and let's go to our Textures folder, and for this, 1024 by 1024 should be fine, I'm going to call this Pallet UVs, and let's export it out. All right, let's go over to Krita. Here in Krita, I'll go to File, Open, and let's find our Pallet UVs, here they are, I'll click Open. Okay, well we have them here but what are we going to put on them? We need to find some sort of texture that we can use here. To do that, I'd like to go out to the Blender Cloud. So I've gone to cloud.blender.org and I've clicked on Libraries here, and here are a lot of goodies that we can use, HDR images, textures, characters, there's a great art gallery here of Blender work, and if you don't know, the Blender Cloud is a subscription service that gives you all kinds of cool stuff. Your subscription helps support the Blender Foundation…
