- There's one piece of housekeeping I'd like to take care of before we move on to the walls, and that's when I created these windowsill pieces I didn't name them or combine them or anything. I'll select one and press the numpad period key to frame them up and I'll select both of them here in the outliner. To join them into one object, all I need to do is press ctl + j. Now I can name that window sill, and that just takes care of that and cleans up the outliner a bit. All right, let's take a look at creating the baseboards for our walls. If we look at the reference image we can see we've got this baseboard all the way around. Let's work on that. So in our front view, we can see that we've got this line here. We don't really see the baseboards per se but we can use this line here as a reference. So I'll go into Edit mode and press Ctrl R to insert an edge loop and bring that down to right about there. Now we've got an edge all the way around and we can go to Face mode and select that…
