- [Instructor] All right, let's go up and grab the thumb right here. Maybe I'll go to face mode and let's maybe Alt + click this face loop right there, and then I'll press Control + Plus and that will expand the selection out. That may be all we need right here. Let's go ahead and select that. And then let's duplicate this, so I'll press Shift + D, hit Enter. Now with this duplicated right here, I'll press the P key and separate it out by selection and there we go. Now let's go ahead and tag back into object mode, select this, let's get the origin back into the center of the geometry here. I'll go to object, set origin and origin to geometry. Now, remember this has a mirror modifier on it, so let's come over to the modifiers panel and just remove that mirror there, we don't need that. All right, so now what I'm going to do is just rearrange it so it moves a little bit easier. So what I'm going to do is just go to that top…
