Folder structure matters
- [Narrator] This next video is literally the most helpful, important, and crucial part of your animation project's pipeline. It's also literally the most boring one, folder structures. Your folder structure is the skeleton of your project, and mixed in with a good naming protocol, this process will literally save you hundreds of hours of nightmares. So let's start with a simple question. If someone asks you where is their file located, could you, without having to look for it through Finder or Windows Explorer, rattle off the path of where they're supposed to look for that file? If you can't, you probably need a good folder structure. So let's go through one that I've made for you here in the exercise files. We have the blank one on the left and then we have our Hillary Twins Evil Faceoff one on the right, and we'll follow along with both. So let's start with Assets.
