Get to know Arthur and how character rigs work

- Now that our scene is ready, we'll dive deeper into all of Arthur's control so we can get familiar with them. We'll discuss concepts like IK/FK, and hinges and learn how the body works. Okay. When we see Arthur, we're going to have to split him into multiple display layers. Display layer lets you control which objects are visible at any time. Let's just click on one, it doesn't matter which, and hit M and 2. Now you'll notice that he looks a little thinner. That's because on Display Layer 2, we have a low polygon version. You're going to want to use this version if your system lags a little bit with the first version. Click on Display Layer 1, click on Arthur, and hit the Spacebar and type out "make proxy" with a Y, and hit Enter. Next, you're going to want to type out the word R-I-G or rig, and hit Enter. This creates a whole bunch of orange controls. This is Arthur's rig. To activate them, you have to switch to Pose mode. So click on Object and go to Pose Mode. Now you'll notice…
