In this video, get an overview of the power of the latest innovation in Blender, 2D animation with the Grease Pencil.
- [Instructor] One of the coolest things … that is inside Blender is the grease pencil. … Now, we could spend an entire course on it … because it's so cool to work with … but we'll at least go through it with this one video. … Go to File, New, and create a new 2D animation. … That'll bring you to this brand new view … called 2D Animation. … You'll have a whole bunch of new tools on the left … and a ton of options on the right. … Now to actually just start drawing, … hold down your left click and start moving it around. … Of course, you can undo … and draw like a little bouncing ball here. … If you have a Wacom tablet, … you can turn this off and kick up your strength … so that way you have a really nice strong line. … Let's move this up for some real estate. … When you're happy that drawing, … you can go a little further in time. … Let's say here … and I'm going to middle mouse click to move … and then Control + mouse click, hold that in to zoom in. … And let's go ahead and draw a ball down here. …
