- [Instructor] In this last section of layout, we're going to talk about how to join all the pieces together to form an animated block out of our scene. Now this process, sometimes called previz, is an integral part of the production pipeline, and it's where you see your whole project come to life in 3D. We're going to cover how to do the camera layout in both Maya and in Blender. First in Maya. You can see that I've created some temporary geometry for the ridge, and I'm using our downloaded 3D models from Sketchfab, the Theory Building and you can see that we have our two characters, Hillary Evil and Hillary Good on both sides. Now this is nothing special. All I've done is gone to file reference editor and made new references for each file that I'm bringing in. And then when I bring in those files, I have display layers that manage the visibility of everything. Now let's say for example I don't want to touch this set anymore.
