Let there be light

- [Instructor] Congratulations. You've reached the last few steps of our character animation journey. In the beginning, we talked about using video reference and sketches to inform our performance. Then we looked at how to block out our character's movement and later refine that movement and add bits of polish to really make it sing. In this chapter, we're going to combine all of that data together to create a rendered image. This is a process that uses our character animation data and lighting information to create that final look. And finally, we'll take all of our rendered images together and combine it into a movie using the post-process. Now let's take a look at lighting. Now for our purposes, we're going to be using the Blender EEVEE render engine. There's also Workbench in Cycles, and I highly recommend you play with them, but for now, we'll stick to EEVEE.
