- [Narrator] The first step in your character animation journey is planning. What we're going to do in this chapter is listen to the dialogue, create sketches and build a framework so that we actually get animating. You have all the pieces that you need to begin. This is what I like to call the traditional CG animation method. That was taught to me when I was going to school, and now that I'm bringing to you. okay so what I've gone ahead and done is added the audio file to our animation here. And all we're going to do is play. Now if you have the exercise files, this is the 0101listen.blend. If you don't have the exercise files, don't worry. It's actually really quite easy to follow along. Let me just go ahead and make a brand new, new 2D animation.
