Merging wall sections
- [Voiceover] So we've now modeled the three different pieces here. So we have this wall section, this wall section and the floor section and what I want to do now is to combine all of these together or join them together as a single mesh and then fix any outstanding topology issues and as we see, there will be some topology issues. So I'm going to select the far-reaching wall and I'm going to Shift select the remaining pieces to add those to the selection so that all three meshes are selected and with them selected I want to join them together. I can do that by accessing the toolbox on the left-hand side of the interface and clicking the Join button. In addition, you can see from the pop-up dialog here that the keyboard shortcut for that is Control J. That is under the Maya style controls. So I'm going to press Control J on the keyboard to combine all of those meshes together as one. You can see that they are now indeed combined, not only from the outliner panel in which we see just…
