Modeling the couch

- Well, the last substantial piece of furniture in the room is this couch. It's pretty straight forward, but let's go ahead and work on this. What I'll do is I'll begin working on the base of the couch first, and then extrude up for the arms and the back of the couch, so I think I'll just take a cube and scale it to size, and then to extrude the arms and the back I'll need to insert some edge loops here, so I'll go into Edit mode and press Control R to insert an edge loop, and I'll bring this one, say, right up here. I'll insert two edge loops here, and then scale them out, and then an edge loop back here for the back of the couch. Now we can go to Face mode and select these faces here and extrude these up for the arms, first of all. So I'll press the E key and just pull up, and then we can select the faces on the back here to extrude the back of the couch up, so I'll just hit E and pull those up as well. Now the top of the couch has an angle to it. The back here has an angle to it…
