- [Instructor] Working on animation production is difficult already. Having to manage the folders, the team, the location, the creative, but what about the files? Yep, files can be huge, daunting, and difficult to manage as well, but don't worry, we have some tricks up our sleeve and we're going to show you how to optimize some of your files in your animation production. Now let's take a look at hilary_twins and let's go all the way up top here, right up to this folder and let's see how big this, whoa! 31 gigabytes. Now where are all of those files? Well they're primarily going to be in your render folder and you can see right here, my local directory, of all my renders that I've done, is up to 27 gigs by itself which leaves about three to four just for assets. So if we go into our render directory, you can see why we've segmented everything into separate folders and then separate versions.
