Reducing polygons

- In this movie, you can see the environment that we have completed so far, and off-screen, I've used the sculpting tools to add further detail to the floor and the environment that you can see here. So you can see the work that the sculpting tools have performed here. Now, one of the problems that you can see is that the sculpting tools insert a significant number of polygons into the mesh, particularly since we had the "dynotopo" option enabled, which allows Blender to insert additional polygons into the mesh to support our sculpting workflow. Now, the problem this has with game environments is that game environments, we want them to be low-poly, generally. So one of the things I want to show you here is one of the automated methods that you can use to reduce the polygons easily in your model. This isn't suitable for all kinds of workflows.
