- [Voiceover] In this movie, I want to mention an important side note that applies when texture painting inside Blender here. So here we have our Blender project and I've been texture painting onto the environment here. You can see the concrete texture applied to the faces of this model. Now the typical practice when saving our work is to move up here to the File menu and choose File and Save, and in most cases and indeed in this case, that works fine generally but there is an important note to add to this. If you have been texture painting inside Blender, that is, producing a new texture file, and you can see here we have the Diffuse Base texture that we have been painting on. This texture data is not saved when you save your Blender project. That is because we have been texture painting to an image file and Blender classifies this as a separate and external image file and it is not encoded inside the Blender project itself.
