Sculpting floor detail

- [Voiceover] In this movie I want to take the environment that we have created so far and use the Blender sculpting tools to add definition and refinement to the floor. In the preceding movies we have seen traditional polygonal modeling techniques for adding things like the window and the floor and the window ledges. This involves taking the vertices edges and faces of a mesh and moving them about and extruding them. This is polygonal modeling. The sculpting tools, in contrast, work slightly differently. They do work on the vertices edges and faces of a model but the actual practice of working with that data is slightly different. It's more akin to a painting workflow as we'll see shortly. So what I want to do here is select this mesh inside the view port and I'm going to be working primarily on the ground here adding detail to that. So I'm going to enter Edit mode here and I want to select all of the faces on the floor. Now to do that I'm just going to pick the face at the center…
